You expect the pastor to always be there. They and their family are the constant in your spiritual journey if you choose that church. I don't think I thought of it as being tiring. You are there for your members and your members support you by attending your church and trusting you, as well as, being involved in the missions and activities you set forth. It seemed like a purpose-driven job which allows you to push through when you're tired because you are that passionate about what you are called to do....be a representative of God's ideals on Earth with the flock you have been chosen to lead.....everyone gets tired...I guess I've never seen anyone get tired of this sort of job. I have seen the cash grabs.....another preacher comes and you are basically asked to pay for their rate by doing a separate offer and it's 3-4 offers per sermon...this fund, that fund and I know people who were directly told....opening a church was a way to make money and so you see a lot of ex military guys who open small churches and that is how they make a living. A lot of it comes from an insincere place but the formula can be reproduced and sold for a profit. It's sad.....keep your mind focused and your heart uplifted.

I love you so much Pastor Wesley. For all you do you most certainly deserve a break. I’ve noticed the way you led us through SEEK 2024 and just kept on going every Sunday you didn’t take a break. I will miss you so much. I am on my 3rd journal containing highlights from each Sunday sermon since I started attending service online in March 2020 One thing for sure you have left the Church in good hands. Rev Dr Judy can handle things along with the rest of your Pastoral staff and young Rev Ty Lord have mercy. You’ve trained them all well Rest Relax and 🙏🏾 Pray. Keep us posted. We’ll miss you terribly. And don’t worry we’ll all be here when you get back.
